2004 Speedrome Modifieds can utilize a roof wing during the season as follows:
1. Wing construction must be aluminum and or lexan. No Plexiglas allowed.
2. Wing installation on roof whereas leading edge is no farther forward than
upper roll cage roof bar. Must retain front windshield and door opening design.
3. Wing construction must be 5' X 5' OR LESS (25 sq. ft). Wings limited to
overall height limit of 96" or less. Wing plane angle will be limited to a 30"
max horizontal slope from trailing edge to leading edge. Speedrome reserves the
right to establish uniform wing degree angle for competitive reasons.

Plexiglas.
5. Wing sideboards (winglets) can be 5' X 30" or less.

hang be shaped in the same form of the foil.
7. Wing mounting will require hinged front and safety pinned rear mounts of the

extrication if necessary.
8. Wing mounting will require the use of solid mounting panels rather than rods
when used on cars without normal modified roof panels.
9. Wing mounting for cars with normal roof panels can utilize rod mounts as long
as the rods are mounted to the exterior of the roof and coupled with solid metal
bases. No rods thru roof proper.
10. Modifieds with roof-mounted wings are still required to have the Speedrome
car numbers on the door panels.
Due to various interpretations and construction designs, the
Speedrome reserves all rights to require changes that better preserve safety
issues on wing configurations. All cars are subject to inspection and or changes that might be required of the Chief Steward.
Modified Series include: Practice, Qualifications, Trophy Dash, Heats and a Feature.
